Our MCS Umbrella Scheme is designed to save you time, money, and hassle. We handle the entire process - from design and supply to commissioning - while you take care of the installation, letting you focus on what you do best. No need for costly MCS accreditation on your part; we take care of certification, cutting down on paperwork and expenses. Plus, once the system is commissioned, we assume full liability of the system, giving you peace of mind. We supply a variety of products, including the market-leading Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan range.

Alto Energy assumes full responsibility for the full scope of work, including design, supply, installation, set to work and commissioning of the heat pump system. Your customers will receive a comprehensive handover pack, including MCS certificate, and Alto Energy will also apply for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant on their behalf.

Why MCS?
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (“MCS”) is the UK heat pump industry quality standard, and provides the pathway to access Government funding such as the renewable heat incentive, as well as a pathway to Building Control approval. For sole traders, or businesses for whom heat pump installations represents a small proportion of their usual business, obtaining MCS certification represents a significant investment in time and responsibility.
